Hey girlzz!
I've actually been home from Italy in like 5 days, I just haven't written in here.. don't really don't why, it's not like I've been busy, but I haven't gotten to it. Anywayzz (what's up with my z's??) I just wanted to tell you a little about my trip!
So I left Saturday the 13th in a bus with some boys from another city who plays under 17 soccer, and drived for 22 hours to get to the place in Italy where we were going. I sat next to one of my friends from the city I live in, the only girl on the team who's also from this loser-city (maybe I should start calling it Loserville? Haha). We had fun, she is really nice, but I have known her for a really really long time too.
So we arrived in Italy Sunday morning, and we went straight to a amusement park called "gardaland", where we were until like 5 pm trying all of these rides. And after that we went to the camping place where we lived. The coaches gave us our living groups and then we "moved in". After that we just ate dinner and then went to bed cause we were exhausted.
Then Monday was the first day of the soccer tournament, and we played 2 teams. I was only in the 5 last minutes of the first game, which ended 0-0. And the 2nd game I was in the game for the 1st half and it ended 1-1. The reason that I wasn't playing that much, is because well most of our team were some of the best players we have, and I'm definitely not one of the best.. I'm more like one of the worst. So that is why I didn't get that much playing time in Italy, the coaches of course want the best possible team. Btw it was really shitty weather that day. In the evening most of the girls where at some kind of show thing, but me and my friend from loserville didn't feel like going and a couple of the other girls stayed as well, and some of the boys from our bus came over. It was kinda awkward though, but they are really nice and we did talk a little to them, and they were at our cottages for a pretty long time like 30-45 minutes. And they are pretty cute :i Well 3 out of them was really cute, the rest was okay ;)
Tuesday we also had 2 games to play, here we won both, the 1st one was 2-0 and the 2nd was 3-0, so that was a great day. And because we were lucky as how the other team's games went we went to the semifinals which were Wednesday. In the evening there was a soccer game between Italy and Denmark (never told you this, but I'm from Denmark.. I actually didn't want to tell you, cause I like to be anonymous, but I just want to tell you about it so bad), and of course we sat on the danish side and had flags and stuff all over our faces.
So Wednesday was the semifinal, I played the 1st half of the game and it ended 0-0 but we couldn't just we tied, so we had to do penalty shootout to find the winner. And we won!!! And went to the final! Now I didn't get to play that one either :( But it was okay, because there was an audience and everything, the boys actually came to watch us play and was some great cheerleaders. And we won again! 1-0 this meant that we had won the whole thing! And some of my teammates actually got interviewed and our "happy scenes" after we had won where filmed and can be found on the internet. After that we got a trophy and medal each. The boys unfortunately didn't win anything, but they where great cheerleaders for us.
And then Thursday we packed and took the bus home again. Now I sat again with my friend from the great Loserville and we sat in the back, and around us was mainly boys. Now she isn't the most forward girl and she slept most of the way, so I just talked to them alone. They are so nice! And we played cards and car games and had a lot of fun! It was a great ride back.
And early Friday morning we where back in Denmark. I was a little sad when we got of the bus and waved goodbye to the boys, cause I didn't think we'd see them again. And I was mad at myself because there was this one boy who I had had eye contact with a couple of times and he had smiled at me, who I never had gotten to talk to :( But it was also nice to get home, our parents had made breakfast and cake for us, and greeted us with flags.
Later when I got home and the next days after most of them friended me on Facebook. And one of them has now planned a reunion party between Christmas and New Years, so it's not the last time I see them and I will get another chance to talk to him!
Jep that was pretty much my trip, it has been so much fun, and I've become so much better friends with all the girls, they are all so nice!
Love,
M.E<3
p.s I was at ballet yesterday to try it and it is so much fun! I am right now trying to figure out if it's something I'd like to go to :D
