So since musical just ended and I've met a whole lot of people that I really want to keep in touch with, I figured I'd do tips on how to keep in touch. So last year I was also in the musical and I actually managed to keep in touch with many of the people, especially these 7 girls that I really clicked with, and this year I have the same girls plus 5-6 more people I want to keep in touch with, so I'll be busy.. Here's my tips:
#1: Write on Facebook or via text or e-mail - make sure to check up on your friends, ask them how they are and what they're up to.
#2: Hang out at least once a month - I think you should really try to hang out at least once a month, more if you have the time. Just make sure to see each other once in a while and have fun together. Of course if you live closer together it's easier to hang out more.
#3: Hang out in groups - this way you can see more than one friend at a time! Of course you can only do this with friends who know each other.
#4: Find an activity to go to - find a sport or a hobby you can share, and meet once a week to go there. I am taking a ballet class with 3 of my friends from last years musical, and we go every monday, and it's a great way to make sure to see each other.
#5: Skype - Skype is an amazing invention! You can see each other and talk at the same time, almost as if you were together, so Skype a lot if you live far apart.
Yeah these are things I do a lot to keep in touch with my friends, and it has worked great so far as you can see, these girls have turned into some of my very best friends. We don't live that far apart though, of course it's much harder if you live further apart.
