The 3rd of October - challenge day 10

Heeeey girls!

5 days to go! Haven't eaten any sugar, drank my glass of water, didn't drink any alcohol and I did eat a little to much at cooking class :( And the challenge today was to make healthy snacks, now I haven't had the time to make any healthy snacks, but I didi find some cool recipes and I already had some recipes so here we go!

Day 10: Make healthy snacks! - find recipes on the internet and use your imagination to create your own. Make 3-5 different kinds of snacks you can bring to school or eat at home instead of candy or chips.

I found

1: frozen bananas!
You put as many bananas as you'd like in a plastic bag and put them in the freezer. And then leave them for a day+ and then you can just take them up once in a while and eat them like an ice-cream snack.

2: Crackers!
All you need for 6 big crackers is:
15 g of yeast
3 dl milk
1 teaspoon of salt
125 g rye flour
175 g wholemeal flour
175 g flour

And you just start by mixing yeast, milk and salt. Put all the flour in and knead the dough. Leave it for 20 minutes in the fridge. Then split it into 6 pieces and roll them out with a rolling pin. Sprinkle them with salt and roll again so it sticks. Poke the crackers with a fork and put them in the oven in 225 degrees Celsius or 437 degrees fahrenheit for 8 minutes. Turn the bread and bake again for 3 minutes on the other side to make them crunchy.
I haven't tried this yet, but I definitely will, and when I do I'll make sure to put in a picture and a review, sounds good doesn't it?

3: Apple candy!
This is pretty simple. If I'm eating an apple I like to cut it into like forths and then eat them like that. And when you do that, try to put raisins on top! It tastes so good, like candy!

4: Banana pancakes!
I know, I've given you a link before, but these are just heaven and they are sooo easy to do! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FA9Z7vvRIw And they are yummy as hell!

5: Other candy-like healthy things!
Nuts, raisins, dried cranberries and other dried fruits, are all very delicious and a little like candy but still  healthy. Fresh fruits are also so good! You can find many many things just as good as candy but healthy, really it's just getting out there and looking for them. Also (and this is not candy-like or anything) I like to snack on boiled eggs with salt, they are so good and you get plenty of protein.

That's all I had for you today, I just got home from having my nails done, something a lot of us girls did together. Now I'm really tired and just looking forward to go to bed.

Love,
M.E<3
